Welcome to Postcard from Europe! By accessing our website and purchasing our products, you agree to the following terms. Don't worry, we keep things simple, fair, and human.

1. Overview

This website is operated by Postcard from Europe. Throughout the site, the terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to our project. By visiting our site or purchasing a postcard from us, you engage in our „Service” and agree to be bound by these terms.

2. Products and Story

Our products are physical postcards sent directly from our ongoing real-life journey in Europe to your mailing address in the United States. Because every item is connected to a live journey, minor variations in delivery times or handwriting may occur, which is part of the authentic charm of Postcard from Europe.

3. Orders and Shipping

  • Shipping Destinations: We currently ship exclusively to the United States.

  • Shipping Method & Cost: Standard postal shipping from Europe is 100% free for our customers.

  • Delivery Times: Since standard international mail travels across the ocean the old-school way, standard delivery aprroximately takes 1-2 weeks from shipping (sometimes it can take longer) 

4. Refunds and Cancellations

We want you to feel 100% safe when ordering from us:

  • Before Shipping: You can cancel your order and get a full refund anytime before the postcard is dropped in the mail.

  • Lost Mail: If your postcard fails to arrive within a reasonable timeframe due to postal issues, let us know and we will happily refund your order.

  • 2-Week Guarantee: Once your postcard arrives, you have 14 days to reach out if you are unsatisfied for any reason. We will issue a refund with no complicated forms or hassle.

5. Privacy

We respect your privacy. Any personal information (like your name and US mailing address) provided during checkout is used solely for the purpose of mailing your postcards and fulfilling your order. We never share your data with third parties.

6. Billing and Invoices 

  • Digital Invoices: Once your order is successfully placed and paid, we will generate and email your digital invoice (PDF) directly to your checkout email address.

  • Taxes: All prices are final. Since we ship internationally from Europe to the US, no local US sales tax is added at checkout by us.

7. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update or change these Terms of Service at any time. Any changes will be posted right here on this page.
